While man is attracted to the beauty of natural landscapes, as he populates it, he changes it forever. Over the past few years, I have been traveling the United States visiting botanical gardens, arboretums, state parks and public spaces —studying both natural and man-made landscapes. Pulling from this visual inspiration, I construct new landscapes of cut painted paper using elements found in these environments.
